If
you want to go through your recruiting experience with
a "Do-It-Yourself" approach, then our four-volume video
series will explain to you, in easy-to-understand
terms, step by step, what you have to do from your freshman
year of high school through your senior year.
|
|
|
| No
secrets or inside information is withheld; if you have the
self-discipline to do each and every step meticulously,
and on a timely basis, you should very well be able to experience
a successful recruiting experience that will surpass that
of most of your peers. |
|
| The
four-volumes of the instructional video series include: |
|
| VOLUME
I - College Recruiting - A Successful Beginning |
| This
volume contains essential introductory information and gives
you an overview of the recruiting process. It is important
that you learn this information so that you can make smarter
and more informed decisions as you go through the process.
This information is good for freshman and sophomores, and
their parents, as well as any juniors or seniors who are
just beginning their recruiting experience. The material
covered includes: NCAA Initial Eligibility Clearinghouse,
the NCAA and NAIA and their components, the 3 Keys to Success,
and much more. |
|
| VOLUME
II - Introducing Yourself to the College Coaches of America |
| This
is the first major proactive step in the recruiting process,
where you will experience some kind of tangible results.
This video goes hand-in-hand with the use of the Official
College Recruiting Directories. In fact, many athletes
who are going through the process on their own will buy
the Directory and just Volume II of this video series
since it (the video) guides them through the initial process
of composing, preparing, and mailing their Athletic Profiles
to college coaches. Since this is a major fundamental step
and can create a solid foundation for your overall recruiting
success, Volume II will make your progress much more
effective and efficient. |
|
| VOLUME
III - How You Can Successfully Attract Scholarship Offers |
| Now,
while many college coaches know that you exist and are going
to evaluate you and, hopefully, determine that you are a
viable prospect for their program, you must continue to
be proactive to optimize your chances for success. |
|
| Ongoing
communications with coaches, continued efforts for self-improvement,
family visits to college campuses, and production of a professional
quality College Recruiting Video are some of the
proactive steps that are discussed in this volume. |
|
| VOLUME
IV - Which Offer Is Best For You? |
| You
are a senior now and several college coaches have determined
that you are their number one recruit and are making you
an offer to become a part of their program for the following
fall season. Hopefully, you are receiving multiple offers.
The question is, "Which one is best for you?" |
|
| Also,
you need to know what to ask, who to ask, and what to see
when you are on a recruiting trip to the college campus
before deciding whether or not to accept the coach's offer.
Otherwise, you may accept what appears to be a very attractive
offer, but, upon attending your first year of college, you
find yourself miserable, being confronted with experiences
and demands that were never disclosed to you while being
recruited and which you did not know to ask about.
Many athletes will then quit the team, forfeit their scholarship,
and, possibly, quit school and go home. Do not let
this happen to you! |
|
| Be
knowledgeable, know what to ask and look for, and you will
then be aware of exactly what you are getting into before
you make your final college choice. |
